Food Safety Essentials food safety training is designed for anyone in a childcare centre that is working with food including the cook, educators serving the food, the volunteers helping with cleaning and clearing the food. The food standard code requires anyone who handles food at any stage of preparation, serving and cleaning to have the knowledge and skills required to keep the food safe to eat.
You may ask why do we need proper food safety training, everyone knows how to wash their hands after handling raw food, right? Well there are many more stages to safe food handling that your staff may not know , or understand the reasons behind the practices.
It is required that your staff are preparing food that is safe to eat for the children in your centre . Our tailored training ensures all attendees understand the safe way to prepare , handle and serve food to your children. All attendees also receive a Certificate of Completion that is nationally recognised.

Does your centre have a food safety program?
The NSW Food Authority highly recommend that Child care centres have a program.
“The current regulatory requirements (i.e Standards 3.2.2 and 3.2.3 of the code )are identified in this document as a must, and compliance with these requirements is mandatory. All other practices and procedures in this document are recommended but not mandatory. However, the Authority would encourage businesses to implement these practices and procedures to ensure that safe food is prepared and served.”
Let us come to your centre , work with you to create a food safety program to ensure you are preparing and serving safe food.
