In Australia everyone that is involved with food in the course of their working day, is required by the FSANZ, Food Standards Code to be trained in Food Safety.

Food Standard Australia New Zealand 3.2.2A, will be implemented from 8th December 2023.
From this date Food Handlers who work in a food business must meet the requirements of this standard, which states that food businesses must ensure all food handlers have completed a food safety training course.
